A gift in memory or in honour is a beautiful way to pay tribute to someone dear.
These gifts provide the donor with the tax receipt, but recognizes the person of honour or in memory for the charitable card (e.g. thank you message) and public visibility. The donor can choose whether or not to be named or remain anonymous in the charitable card – with the amount always remaining confidential.
Such donations can often come from individuals and/or groups choosing to have donations in lieu of flowers or other gifts. Charitable cards provide guests an opportunity to give back in lieu of flowers or other gifts, with guests mailing their donation to PHE Canada using the donation card. PHE Canada can provide charitable cards to interested individuals and/or groups to process the request.
