The Young Professional Award is a yearly award presented to one professional per provincial association that best epitomizes exemplary work on behalf of the physical and health education profession. Selection of the award recipient is made by the provincial/territorial association.

All recipients will receive an award plaque. Award presentations usually take place during provincial/territorial conferences.

Eligibility

  • The candidate must be a member of PHE Canada or a Liaison Group, and be 35 years of age or less, although some exceptions can be made for individuals who started late-entry careers;
  • The individual must not be a previous recipient of this award.

Application: Each provincial/territorial association is responsible for soliciting nominations and selecting recipients. To be considered in your province/territory, contact your provincial/territorial association.

If you have any questions, please contact [email protected].

We request at least 3 weeks' notice before the presentation ceremony in order to prepare and send the award package.
