This course will offer strategies and resources to support you in preventing substance-related harms among youth. We all have a part to play and this course has been designed to specifically address the role of Administrators in the prevention of substance-related harms. There are parallel eLearning courses available to support Pre-Service Teachers and Teachers in implementing the Blueprint for Action in their respective roles.

1. Highlight the need to approach substance use interventions) in a different way
2. Introduce the approaches and interventions of the Blueprint for Action
3. Encourage you to reflect on existing school policies, beliefs, and approaches to reducing substance-related harms among youth
4. Outline the benefits of implementing the Blueprint for Action
5. Identify specific actions you can take as an administrator to apply the Blueprint for Action within your own school
