Physical and Health Education Canada (PHE Canada), Ever Active Schools, Ophea, and EdCan are now inviting submissions to present at the 2023 Healthy School National Forum.
The event will take place in downtown Ottawa, Ontario on November 8-9, 2023. The theme of the 2023 Healthy Schools National Forum is "Changing the System - From Roadblocks to Opportunities".
The 2023 National Forum Program Committee is looking for presentations that fit into the following themes:
- Harm Reduction/Substance Use
- Indigenous Well-Being
- Organization Partnerships
- Healthy Schools
- Staff Well-Being
- Vulnerable Populations Well-Being
- Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
Please note that:
- All presenters (including co-presenters) are required to register online as a delegate for the National Forum if your abstract is successful. https://site.pheedloop.com/event/hsforum/register
- Wireless internet, digital projector, screen, and a microphone will be provided. Presenters are responsible for bringing their own laptop with a VGA connection.
- Breakout sessions are one hour in length. Every breakout session consists of two or three 20-30 minute presentations, followed by a break and a 45-minute facilitated working group discussion.
- While we will consider special requests, we cannot guarantee that they will be fulfilled.
