Erica Scott
Erica Scott is the creator of the Consent Culture Intro Workshop and co-author of the book “Creating Consent Culture: A Handbook for Educators”. As a survivor of child sexual abuse, 30 plus years of working in a male dominated industry, and as a mother of young adult children, she feels the urgency to bring more effective consent education to a wider audience. They are the CEO of Creating Consent Culture and have taught consent skills to people in Canada, India, Africa, Europe, and the US. In 2019 she was given the Rex Karmaveer Global Award for Social Innovation.

Erica Scott est la créatrice du Consent Culture Intro Workshop (atelier d’introduction à la culture du consentement) et co-autrice du livre Creating Consent Culture: A Handbook for Educators. Survivante de maltraitance sexuelle pendant l’enfance et mère de jeunes adultes, ayant travaillé pendant plus de 30 ans dans un secteur à prédominance masculine, Erica estime qu’il est urgent de sensibiliser davantage de personnes à l’importance du consentement. Elle est la PDG de Creating Consent Culture et a formé des personnes au consentement au Canada, en Inde, en Afrique, en Europe et aux États-Unis. En 2019, elle a reçu le prix de l’innovation sociale décerné par Rex Karmaveer Global.
