Dr. Heather Erwin

Dr. Heather Erwin is the Department Chair and Professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Promotion at the University of Kentucky. With expertise in school-based physical activity and physical education pedagogy, her work has been published in over 100 refereed articles, chapters, and books. Dr. Erwin has led numerous interventions in partnership with schools and communities and is committed to preparing future professionals in health and physical education. She is a former Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Teaching in Physical Education and continues to contribute to the advancement of the field through her leadership and scholarship.
