S2C 2019

Share2Care is a mental health activation initiative gathering promising practices from across the country to share and inspire others to take action in their class and/or school community. Join us and share your school’s best practices and ideas. The last day to submit an application is Thursday, October 17, 2019.

Submit your school mental health initiative to…

Share to Inspire Others: This year, we will feature more promising practices on Teach Resiliency. Your school’s mental health initiative can inspire other school communities across Canada to take action.

Share to Be Recognized: Building a school mental health program is not an easy task, especially when educators are also contending with heavy demands of day-to-day responsibilities while managing work-related stress. This year, Share2Care will recognize every school that submits on teachresiliency.ca, because the positive impact you are bringing to your school community is worth celebrating.

Share to Connect: Beyond the completion of the campaign, we hope to create school communities that are more willing to talk about mental health among students and staff, more informed to end mental illness stigma, and be better equipped to create a culture of wellness at school.

Share to Reflect: The funding application process will also help you evaluate your promising practice(s) in a positive way, and encourage you to find a better, or more effective, way of running your school initiative in the future.

Share to Take Action: The funding for recipient schools has increased to a total of $25,000 ($5,000 per school community) to help advance mental health initiatives or ideas, thanks to the generous support of The Co-operators.

Share to Care: Submit your application today. It is because of champions like yourself that we can make the 2019 campaign even more successful and create more impact. It is champions like yourself that can make a difference and can #Share2Care.

The last day to submit an application is Thursday, October 17, 2019. The five funding recipients will be announced in November.
