Dyson MacLeod is an educator currently teaching at a Canadian international school in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Passionate about integrating health and wellness into his lessons, Dyson is dedicated to helping students become lifelong movers. As a lifelong learner, he is committed to deepening his knowledge in Physical and Health Education and applying this knowledge in practical ways to inspire others. Dyson MacLeod est un enseignant. Il enseigne actuellement dans une école internationale canadienne à Abu Dhabi, aux Émirats arabes unis. Passionné par l’intégration de la santé et du bien-être dans ses cours, M. Dyson souhaite plus que tout aider les élèves à rester mobiles tout au long de leur vie. Adepte de l’apprentissage continu, il s’engage jour après jour à approfondir ses connaissances en éducation physique et à la santé, et à les mettre en pratique pour inspirer les autres. Combler le fossé entre la compréhension théorique et son application dans le monde réel est pour lui une passion. Il rend ainsi les concepts complexes accessibles à tous les élèves.

Incorporating Technology into Physical Education: Enhancing Engagement and Learning
[ Feature Article ] In today’s digital world, especially among teens, technology is everywhere. Dismissing it in Physical Education can hinder innovation and disconnect us from students’ needs (Martin & Hultman, 2022). Digital tools like gamified apps can boost motivation and engagement. Rather than resist its growth, we should embrace technology to enrich teaching and enhance student learning (Yau et al., 2022).
