PHE Canada was pleased to hear The Honourable Adam van Koeverden, Secretary of State (Sport), announce the Government of Canada’s historic $755 million investment over five years to strengthen the sports system.
From playgrounds and schools to community sport programs across the country, this commitment has the potential to create more opportunities for children and youth to be active, develop confidence and life skills, and experience the benefits of safe, quality sport. We are grateful to see this investment in the future of sport and physical activity in Canada.
