Physical and Health Education Canada (PHE Canada) is proud to celebrate another incredible year for the At My Best (AMB) program, with 8,012 teachers and school administrators now registered in the program, reaching 943,630 students. This year, 118 schools across the country registered for the culminating At My Best Play Day, with more than 35,219 students taking part in a day dedicated to movement, joy, and healthy living.
At My Best Play Days are school-wide celebrations built around AMB's three pillars of wholistic student well-being: physical activity, healthy eating, and emotional well-being. Each registered school received the At My Best Play Day Toolkit, offering a variety of physical and health activities and other free downloadable resources to support schools with their celebrations. The AMB Play Days offer students the opportunity to step away from the ordinary and enjoy some fun and games, while also building the habits and mindsets that will support their lifelong health.
Spotlight: 10 At My Best Signature Play Days
Thanks to the generous support of the At My Best program's funding partners, ten schools were selected to receive At My Best Signature Play Days—an elevated Play Day experience featuring enhanced resources, activities, and engagement designed to bring the At My Best themes to life in an even bigger way. Each student will receive a personal AMB Activity Kit for each student and a $1,000 school grant to support healthy, active living initiatives.
