Michael Palermo

Michael has completed his BSc in kinesiology from McMaster University and his BEd from Ontario Tech University. In addition to his education, Michael enjoys playing rugby, hockey, and canoe-tripping across Ontario. He aspires to be an outdoor education teacher one day to share his passion for physical activity and connecting with nature.

[ Feature Article ] This article features the PHE Canada Student Chapter at Ontario Tech University (OTU). OTU was the first established PHE Canada Student Chapter who set the stage for others across Canada. We interviewed the executive members: Danielle Bates, Michael Palermo, Jenna Kastanas, Nicole Cannata, and Meghan Homeniuk to learn about their experience and how the Chapter has supported their growth and development as PHE educators and champions.
