Kindergarten Outdoor Play in the Sun, Rain, and Snow!

This promising practice highlights a Kindergarten outdoor play program aimed to transform the program from highly-structured, teacher-directed, indoor activities to student-led play in the outdoor environment. The school created and implemented a plan to begin every day outside in nature. Through outdoor play, movement, and connecting to nature, students and staff are calmer, happier, and healthier.
