Jack.org

From the site:

"Traditional approaches to tackling the issue of mental health in Canada rarely reach outside the 1 in 5 Canadians who are affected by mental illness. Jack.org’s programs are designed reach all young people, the 5 in 5. We encourage and enable young people to better care for themselves and support their peers.

We have a laser focus on ways to draw in individuals and communities that have traditionally been very difficult to reach. We believe that the inclusiveness of our outreach strategy will shatter the stigma and will lead to real and substantial long-term change.

At Jack.org, our vision is “No More Silence” on the subject of mental health. A nation where all youth in our target demographic are somehow touched by Jack.org or what our initiative represents, and where we will see a reduction in youth suicide, and increased wellbeing of Canada’s young people."

In short, we want to save and improve the lives of young people.
