The Healthy School Planner is a free, evidenc-based online tool that schools can use to assess their current health environment and build a plan to make improvements.
Available in English and French this self-assessment introduces you to the fundamental steps to building a healthy school. It considers the role of:
- teaching and learning
- social and physical environment
- partnership and services
- healthy school policy
The four main modules are:
- tobacco use
- physical activity
- healthy eating
- positive mental health.
Additional resources include action templates, resources organized by jurisdiction, and aggregate summary data.
