Share2Care 2020: Campaign Criteria and Eligibility

To be eligible for the Share2Care funding:

  • Initiatives must be implemented in a K-12 Canadian school or school board
  • Submissions must demonstrate the following:
    • Clearly defined background

    • Relevancy

    • A feasible plan of action and activities based on overview

    • Clear outcomes and measurement

    • Sustainability

    • Expected or actual learnings

    • Inclusive practices

    • Scope of impact

    • Clear description of use of funds

  • Submissions must be submitted by a school or school board employee but can include school/school board initiatives that are student-designed and/or led.
  • A school or school board applicant may complete more than one submission, but only one submission may be selected per applicant.  

  • No commercial products can be promoted as the only intervention (e.g. submissions can utilize a commercial program or product to support their initiative but other non-commercial activities need to occur in order for the submission to be considered)

  • Entries are not about diagnosis and treatment, rather they are initiatives that promote mental health resiliency.

  • Share2Care is designed to support K-12 schools in Canada. Post-secondary initiatives are ineligible.

  • Submissions may pertain to current initiatives already active within the school community and/or new mental health program being initiated within a school.
