This 2-page document describes the results of a research review conducted in the United Kingdom in 2017 examining the effectiveness of various strategies used in school-based health promotion programs. Specific strategies/characteristics that were shown to be effective are presented, with a focus on implementation strategies. Shortcomings of the review are also discussed.
