Empathy matters: developing empathy

This resource is part of the webinar series provided by Teaching Tolerance . The first webinar in the Equity Matters series discusses the importance of empathy in your interactions with students and in students' interactions with others. Educators will learn about the impact of teaching and modeling empathy in their classrooms. Participants from the webinar will respond to real-life scenarios and gain strategies for building empathy into their own classroom practices and for teaching students to empathize with others. This webinar is previously recorded, and registering with Teaching tolerance is free and required in order to access the webinar.
