The Dr. Andy Anderson Young Professional Award is a yearly award presented to one professional per provincial association that best epitomizes exemplary work on behalf of the physical and health education profession. Selection of the award recipient is made by the provincial association.
All recipients will receive a plaque with the Joy of Effort. Award presentations usually take place during provincial conferences.
Eligibility: The candidate must be a member of PHE Canada or a Liaison Group, and be 35 years of age or less, although some exceptions can be made for individuals who started late-entry careers.
Application: Each provincial association is responsible for soliciting nominations and selecting recipients. To be considered in your province or territory, contact your provincial association.
